The future is BRIGHT!
Reckless optimism!
The most in team history as well.
*I wonder who the American is*
“Colton Ralph”
*ahhh I see*
Dvorsky and Pekarcik are expected to be the top-line C and RW for Slovakia and they will be counted on heavily. That’s a team to watch for sure.
On Czechia, Jiříček likely won’t get huge minutes because he hasn’t played much coming off his injury at last year’s tournament. Štancl (4th rounder) is having a great year and is returning from last year’s team where they won the bronze. Jecho/Kos are more middle of the lineup guys.
On Sweden, Lindstein and Stenberg both returning from an awesome tournament last year. They went with an older team that will probably play a super sound game relying on their strong defense.
And what a great experience for a young defenseman like Colin Ralph who has barely even played at the college level. He’s a great talent but hasn’t had any experiences like this – lets see how he stacks up against the best.
8 of the 9 are from Sweden, Czechia, and Slovakia
Not a blues fan, but I am excited to see your prospects in action, mostly because you’ve got 4 of them on my team. Hope they succeed for y’all!!!
It wasn’t that long ago that we were the only team that didn’t have any prospects competing in the World Juniors. This is pretty impressive.

Is Snuggerud no longer eligible I’m guessing?
