Anyone who paid any attention last season to Klay’s runs with the 2nd units and/or Steph’s minutes with the starting lineup after Klay went to the bench could see Steph’s offensive output and difficulties this season coming from a mile away. The way many of you have started blaming Steph in the same way you blamed Klay and labeled him “washed” last season over issues firmly rooted in faulty roster construction is insane.
The Olympics was just a few months ago, talking about him as if/concluding that he’s just old and feeble now and that’s why he can’t put up numbers and come through big in games is mindless hyperbole. Stop it.

It was easy dropping 3’s when you had KD and LeBron at your wing.. that extra split second is all Curry needs to make the shot but the current warriors bench isn’t helping create space and other teams are just defending him well
you got the other players driving the lane hoping they’ll get a superstar call too while trying to make a tough layup, that part is hard to watch. Or TO with the extra pass. Other defenses are just getting a lot better with the 3 ball changing the game, defense really has had to change a lot and i hope that gets talked about more
Yep this team desperately needs another player who when on the court with Steph can draw another defender or can take their defender off the dribble. Every clip of the Grizzlies game you could see Steph’s defender literally one inch from him the entire time. What is Steph supposed to do? Other teams know how dangerous he is so they just absolutely do not let him get the ball. And they can do that when the rest of the warriors pose nearly zero threat.
Idk if the answer is to trade for another star or what because idk if teams would even let off on guarding Steph. Say they even make the trade for Butler, I’d be willing to bet defenses still stick to Steph and force Butler to beat them instead. TBH there just might not be an answer if opposing teams refuse to let Steph breathe.
