  1. I hope they are playing Stanley just to trade him for something. Going to be hard to find a 2C and Top 4 D knowing how the Jets are during trade deadline

  2. Its a team game. Iafallo, kupari, and barron are performing their role. Would lambert and chib be better? Maybe, probably. However they are going to ride the experienced guys for now. I expect to see more of lambo and chib in the second half. Appleton is a key part of one of the most effective lines in the league. I think they are load managing ville. Stanley will sit more in the second half but be playoff available if needed. His toughness is required and the team is not exactly fighting for a playoff spot, they are first in the league. They team is in playoff preparation already

  3. Jets coaching isn't good. Bad decisions over and over, and we were good for 15 games to start the year, and our last 18 not good enough. Teams have adjusted to us, and we haven't adjusted at all by the looks of it.

  4. Iafallo may be a good defensive depth forward but paying him 4 million for 4th line minutes is too much. Stanley had decent stretches against the ducks. He had 3-4 blocked shots on the penalty kill in the third period, and made a good play on a cross crease pass that probably would have ended up in the back of the net. I’m no Stanley apologist but he can put up a valiant effort.

  5. Chibbi has earned a spot. His play away from the puck has been great, and he has finishing ability. I like Morgan Barron, but I think he needs to be the 13th forward.

Logan Stanley is not an NHL defenseman. Jets coaches are size queens, and it's hurting us. Stanley gets out-muscled on the boards and net-front by guys half his size, he's a slow skater so he gets beat on the rush all the time, he gets beat up in every fight. He is NOT an NHL defenseman.

Fleury has had bright flashes, but he suffers from puck-panic. He's an adequate 7th D, but that's it.

Heinola has outperformed Stanley in every category and has earned his spot on the roster, but he's not getting any minutes. It's looking more and more like Rutger McGroarty was bang-on in his assessment of the Jets coaching staff.

  6. As for trading Stanley… nobody wants him, or he would have been gone already. Scouts and Managers can see the same Stanley drawbacks that we do. Chevy doesn't want to lose a 6'7" defenseman on waivers, though, so here we are.

  7. We have the guys in the d core. Fleury and Miller as the bottom pair is really solid. Rotate heinola in with them. Coghlin and Stanley as 8th and 9th defence man. No worries there.

  8. How the hell are you not playing Heinola ON HIS CORRECT SIDE, with Miller who is always in the correct position, and has man strength??? You all think Pionk is great and having a career year? Great. Trade him when his stock is highest. But these dumb decisions go WAY back to 1979 unfortunately.

  9. Why can`t Ville win the hearts of the coaches? What is preventing them from saying Ville you are our guy? If we were going to replace Stanley I would like to have kept Dillion with the team.

  10. As usual, you are correct on all your takes. I would keep Morrissey, Samberg and Fleury on the Left. The Right side is NOT good enough. I would replace Pionk and Demelo and leave Miller on the 3rd pairing with Fleury.

  11. I honestly believe that our fourth line is under utilized, its bard to produce when you're given two shifts a period. Like vegas and Washington run all four lines. That being said I i do believe that chibi would absolutely be leathal in place of Barron

  12. Kupari has wicked skill. His zone entries and puck movement through the neutral is elite for a 4th liner. Constantly making near highlight reel plays driving the puck in with his speed. Problem is he can never finish. Makes many gaffes and gives the puck away a ton. I believe he is worth the investment and is not costing us much currently. Worth the try for a couple more years for sure.

  13. It also made no sense to send Chibby back down to the Moose. He could have been a big help in these next few games against the Wild and the Leafs. Stanley should have been waived, and probably would have cleared and he could have been sent to the Moose.

  14. I don’t usually question lineup decisions cuz what the hell do I know but you’re exactly right. This makes no sense. Stanley has to go.Chibby has to be in there somewhere and Miller play every game

  15. Seems to me that you are looking for something to complain about on the first place team. They may not be putting up points but they are amongst the most used 4th line in the nhl and they are not losing their time on ice
