  2. Despite not playing in over a year, Murray was solid aside from that 1st goal.
    The 3rd line has been amazing and is finally contributing depth scoring, which this team desperately needed. Keep it rolling tomorrow boys

  3. It's great to see Matt Murray healthy. Leafs have a really good goaltending team, Murray is there for us, just in case. It would work out amazingly if he Murray is sharp by the playoffs.

  7. i was not a matt murray fan until tonight. anyone who very well could have packed it in, got double hip replacement, shows what we could very well need in the playoffs. a new matt murray!

  11. One of the things that msde mats sundin the right captain for the leafs was the calculated and minimalist style in which he expressed himself.
    Post mooning mathews has settled into the minimal, calculated and inteligent style of expression that is essential for the captain of the biggest media market in hockey.

  13. Really happy for Murray and you could tell how much of a big deal it was for him to be back at NHL level. I would have been proud of him even if he had lost the game. And even if we lose him to waivers, I'll be happy for him if he gets to play for another NHL team because he deserves it. Nothing indicates he can't play at this level.

Love seeing a good comeback story and hope every game he gets to play while a leaf roster want every player to guard him and the zone around ya goalie no matter who's in net and if there's a player skate ⛸️ in that blue paint shove poke or a good timely hit to let the team know crossing this line will not be tolerated in hockey ya goalie is your king in chess ya protect ya king as best as ya can the easier time ya have to be on the counter attack to to knock one in or 2 or 5 like tonight past there king not included the empty net know ya have a heck of a schedule upcoming so don't give one Ince for the opposing team to breathe or set up as best as ya can

  19. You know, it's hard to put yourself in an athlete's shoes for obvious reasons but on a human level, imagine being Matt Murray. Someone who achieved the ultimate greatness and then was set back to a point where could he really do it anymore? Just an absolutely incredible feeling. Good for your Matt, I hope you get your opportunity somewhere
