Dodgers Rumors: LA ‘Probably’ Betting Favorites for Rōki Sasaki Among MLB Execs

  1. Yes and I’ll “Probably” end up in bed alone tonight. Let’s report on rumors that aren’t guaranteed.

  2. They’ve made it sound like there’s a chance he goes someplace smaller, but im not going to kid myself. He’s probably just going to go to the dodgers.

  3. If he signs with anyone other than the Dodgers, I will dress up like a dodger dog and host a press conference announcing my retirement from all future baseball betting. And post it on YouTube.

  4. I’m just curious. Will the Dodgers eventually have to drop all star caliber players to AAA because they’ve run out of room for everyone they are signing? Like are they just going to hoard players so other teams can’t have them?

  5. Anyone signing with the Dodgers since the ‘23-‘24 offseason is looking for an easy path to the postseason. They’re looking for a job that pays well and doesn’t ask them to be in charge of anything, or carry much weight on their own. In a sense it’s understandable, but it’s not what makes someone great. Greatness comes from bearing the extra burden, facing adversity, fighting against the odds, etc. Anyone signing with the Dodgers this offseason is a coward. Take Snell, for example.

  6. If money was the motivation then yes I’d say the Dodgers. They can only give him so much money because of IFA rules so I don’t understand this preconceived notion that they already have him. Optimistic Cubs fan here but I would argue we have just as good of a shot as anybody else does

  7. But, but, but I thought he was going to be more comfortable in a smaller market???? You mean that’s not true????

  8. United the executives have heard this from Sasaki or his agent, why bother asking them. It means nothing. Roki could care less what these people think.
