Titans HC Brian Callahan fired up at “soft team” comments

Tennessee Titans HC Brian Callahan got fired up when asked if he feels as if his team is soft both physically and mentally, leading him into a fiery rant that was awesome to see from the young HC. Callahan also officially announced today that the team will be going with QB Mason Rudolph going forward as Will Levis is heading to the bench. Callahan gave his explanation as to why this was ultimately the best decision for the team going to finish out the season.

  1. He only says what people want to hear don't be fooled this team is soft. Also every interview he has an answer for everything except for winning no excuse 3-11 record is our worst in over a decade.

  2. Will was better last year. Fire Cally, keep Will. His play calling is horrible and very predictable; hence the turnovers (DBs and safetys know whats coming). The reason check-down Rudolph doesnt like to go downfield and throw into tight windows is because he doesnt have the arm strength. Get Will a good Oline and receivers who can consistently get sepetation and he will flourish. Ironically Will has to learn much more from his mistakes than the poor coaching or lack thereof. Benching him now as a scape goat just to make a point with three of the easiest games left on the schedule is pointless and won't prove a damn thing even if they win them all. Cally is an idiot and needs to be fired. Levis has a high ceiling due to his physical tools, arm strength, toughness, etc. Whatever he is doing wrong is fixable – needs a good coach!! Cally speaking out of both sides of his mouth that Will has improved and he still believes in him yet he is benching him; so let him continue to develop and learn instead of benching him and continuing to destroy his confidence. Action speak louder than the Cally BS! Cally is a fraud (not ready for prime time coach) he needs to learn more than Will. How about holding the weak-ass receivers accountable early in the season when they were more in position to make a play on the ball and stood like statues when Will was trying to avoid the sacks during the two shovel passes while going down that resulted in interceptions. When Mahones does the same thing, his receivers come back to the ball or atleast prevent the pick instead of standing there like statues; yet Will is told u should have takin the sacks; and when he starts taking the sacks, Cally is all on him again for taking too many sacks. I could go on and on with other examples. The problem is the lousy coaching is destroying Levis thought process and confidence. Levis would be better off without the lousy coaching and just ìallowing himself to self-correct. The bad defense that cant get off the field on 3rd downs while consistently giving up chunk plays along with poor Oline, special teams, etc. are the glaring issues m; not Levis!😅 This definitely aint all on Levis. Get rid of this fledgling inexoerienced coach and open up the check book and find a proven seasoned coach!!

  3. Soft coach soft team just remeber how we were with vrabel beating bradys patriots #1 ravens what who we are, now it isn't our team, I know we want vravel go,he just didnt want to be in tennessee after aj only thing he would be with us if we didn't trade aj now we know that vrabel was right we must have keep aj, bring vrabel give him 20 mln per year guve him all power and taking decisions

  4. Coach comes up with good plays. If titans had a better QB games would be different. Defense gets tired if offense cant hold onto the ball long. Also get a new LT. Shift lt to rt where he played college and was a stud

  5. Mason Rudolph is the most experienced and best QB the Titans currently have. Putting Levi’s, who is basically a rookie, on the field is NOT putting the best foot forward to try and win games. Something fishy about it all but I think the Levi’s issue Is being forced and he’s just not ready.
It takes time to make the transition from college to pro QB. What is transpiring is not fair to him nor the rest of the team, not to mention the fans!
    It’s just my opinion.
