This trade was mainly to shed money and have Trevino who is sort of a starter catcher. Can’t have both on the Yankees. Let wells not worry about losing his job. This will hep out. From there they got the backup catcher and a relief pitcher. Worst that can happen o me of those work out but we shedded money and helped wells.
I don’t think the Yanks will get Sasaki but I hope they do. If they don’t they will have wasted an opportunity to get the best free agent first baseman available. If Alonso signs somewhere else the Yankees will probably have to sign Bregman to play third. They can’t go into the season without a legitimate 3rd and 1st baseman. They’ll need at least one or the other. Probably BOTH!
I’m a Mets fan n I check in on u every so often big guy! It all started when Soto didn’t make his decision yet and I was just trying to find anybody who would give me any information on it…. And then when he came to us, I searched you out to find your reaction and I was pleasantly surprised that you weren’t lying and saying now all of a sudden, soto is a terrible player. You were honest and fair and you even said you still wanted him and I appreciate that so I check in on you every so often 😂
IMO yankees should have went after walker.the chances of them getting sasaki are slim.i really don't trust cashman because i feel he puts staying under the salary cap ahead of making the team better.

Yankees need it fix there lineup because if they go into the season with what they have the offense is going to be horrible.
