  1. What a joke. The only good takeaway here is we don’t play Winnipeg again in the regular season.

  2. Just a few hours ago i commented on how the team doesn’t have the low lows we sometimes had under Evason. I stand corrected.

  3. We need Chicago to be a get right game like George Costanza needed his boss to believe that Festivus was a real holiday

  4. I’m going to try REALLY hard to be positive.

Its a slump. The Jets had their slump of like, 10 straight games a month ago. We still have a number of top line injured players, and realistically…. with the cap situation, we were never going to have the depth to play through that many injuries at a time.

I’m choosing to believe that with a few days off, and maybe a bag skate or something, it’ll get back to fun hockey again soon.

  5. Just 4 goals scored in the last 4 games and 9 goals in the last 6. 24 goals against in the last 6. This team has problems to say the least. Getting the injured players back will help, but it’s important to remember that it likely won’t fix our PK struggles, which are a big part of the recent slump and have been a problem the last couple seasons at least

  6. If I had a dollar for every faceoff we won on the PK, I couldn’t buy a chocolate milk at Kwik trip.

  7. What is it about the jets that we match up so poorly? I know their goalie won the Vezna but just seems we are a terrible matchup against them. Don’t wanna play them in the playoffs

  8. People can use the injury excuse all they want. But there is a deep rot in the team right now. Sure Trenin and Lauko are hurt, they provided close to zero offense before injuries. Gus is a tough loss to injury as is Middleton and Ek, and all of these player I can see impacting how many goals we give up but where is the offense?? Outside of Ek the top 2 lines are intact. Boldy is silent again and honestly playing some of the worst hockey of his career; Mojo is useless; Gadreau, nothing; Khus, whiff. Even Faber has taken a step back from his rookie year, bad passes reaching and not moving his feet. It’s a bad, bad sign. Sure we should be losing games with all these injuries, but it should be a slugfest, not a paltry 1 offensive goal or a shutout.

I think the more concerning aspect is the lack of emotion too. Spurgeon is a passive captain and doesn’t inspire a lot of fire on the ice, great player to be sure, but he just isn’t a light a fire guy and every year we slump and every year the team just looks like someone kicked their dog. Go out and get mad, get physical, yell at your teammates for making bad plays motivate people to play better. This team just looks dead

  9. Well, at least the Jets fans were really nice 🤣🤣

Side note, Canada Life and Rogers Place sell hockey cards, why doesn’t the X also sell hockey cards?! Missed opportunity!

  10. Sick of seeing the Jets score within 20 seconds of getting a PP and the Wild can’t even get a shot off after 1:20 of ours, why are we so atrocious?

  11. I think what this week has proved is that this team is *not* ready to win now.

Future is still very bright, but the lack of depth has been horrendous

  12. Due to visiting family I missed the game, but got to watch a highly entertaining end to Columbus-Philly.

I followed along via Russo and the GDT. It sounded hideous.

  13. I’m hoping this team gets back on the right track before the January 2 game against Washington, ‘cause I’ll be there. -a Wild fan from PA

  14. Jets fan blah blah blah. I know we hate each other, but outside of hockey I fucking love you guys, your state, and your people. There’s this little breakfast place in Minneapolis that’s amazing. Love Brits Pub. Lately I’ve been feeling like the hate may be real. We’re both performing really well, which brings a bunch of moronic band wagon toxic fans, but are we still cool?

  15. It’s probably a good thing my wife and I went to the play A Christmas carol instead of watching the game.

  16. Why don’t we ever have players that step up and overachieve. Also what is the point of Trenin

  17. Yikes. I’m starting to really like Khus play though, can tell he’s getting more into it

  18. It was a grievous mistake to give Wally that game. Let’s hope this wasn’t a fatal blow to his confidence
