Des seems so much more empowered to shoot when he feels, love that he’s turning it around
Also shout out Slaw, Jake of all trades
They got cooked by a white guy named Labia
I can’t wait to see Edey vs Hartenstein on December 29th.

Des shooting well is dangerous for the league
Jake shit in them um god
Jake can’t be called Slaw(I know it’s a term of endearment for him) anymore, he’d be a starter on a top 10 team

Cannot believe we’re able to trade David Roddy and get grizzlies legend Yuta Watanabe the chance to retire here
#Grizz Win Downvote party
One takeaway from these last two games I think is encouraging is when they build those big 20 pts leads, they havent let the other team go on a meaningful run to make it a game again. That has been a concerning issue in some games earlier this season.
When they started making shots, the boys answered right back. Hope that continues
Our team is so good. Cruising and not even on 4th gear today.
Credit to Jenkins, Iisalo and the coaching team.

Guys, I think we might have a squad
**POSTGAME THOUGHTS**
**• Props to SPjr as the player of the game…**
…but somehow he left me feeling like he could have played a lot better?
It was his turnovers and decision-making at some points. Just some bad passes, dribbling way way WAY too long, that pass to a trailing BC that led him straight into a charge rather than passing it ahead to Bane so he could draw a foul… these were all things a seasoned PG would not do and just shows that as good as Scotty is, he has a lot of areas he needs to get better in.
I think he will get better in them but it’s just worth pointing out.
**• Zach Edey won the** ***”Who’s the Best Lotter Pick?”*** **contest**
I’m not saying that Risarcher sucks because he doesn’t. But no.1 overall? Didn’t look like it. Like, it’s difficult to even make the argument that the Hawks drafted based on need when they took him because they’ve got a bunch of wings so if it’s not based on need, you have to as assume it had to be about talent.
And if that’s the case…
**• …Risarcher didn’t really look better than Jaylen Wells to me, either**
I’m not saying that Risarcher sucks. Because he doesn’t. But he didn’t look like he should have been selected ahead of Jaylen. Jaylen plays like he’s in his 3rd year in the league already.
**• Are all those people who said Jake sucks… are they okay?**
Has anyone checked on those people? Because I’m worried about them. They’ve been awfully quiet and I want to make sure everything’s alright with them. Someone make sure their water bowls are filled and their getting their treats.
**• Bane is back**
People were quick to say he was toast and that he should be benched or traded. Thank goddess Desmond Bane reads Reddit so he could get his fill of bullying because we all know that bullying players on Reddit makes them play better.
**• Referees are going to get players hurt**
Specifically Grizzlies players. They just let a lot of calls go. We can be up and they won’t call them because *”We want games to stay competitive and you guys are up.”* or we could be down and they wouldn’t call it because *”Well, you guys didn’t have a chance of coming back.”* It doesn’t matter. They just don’t call our games fairly.
It’s not about the number of calls for either side because teams don’t commit the same number of offenses throughout the game. It’s about setting a line for how the game will be called early on and staying with that throughout the night. They don’t set a line for the game, they set different lines for each team. Seems our line is always out of reach.
Having said all that, I love that no-call when Zhaq just decided to delete a defender on a spin for an easy two. It’s a preview of what it’ll be like once the refs stop their ridiculous moratorium on calling fouls in his favor.
I just hope that dude that the Hawks mascot tackled is okay. That shit will live rent free in my head for the rest of time lol
After how brutal last season was, this start is hittin like crack lmao

A pleasure to see that beat down in person
Where is the r/nba postgame?
SUCK IT BANE HATERS
We’ll probably still endure some *a-la-Laker-esque* lows along RS.
We’ll (most) probably still enjoy some *Gwarr-ish* highs as well.
Those doesn’t matter that much.
These random middle-season, low-profile games like tonight should be bread-and-butter.
Being relentless there will get you the consistency.
And occurs to me than being consistent over what we’ve seen…
…implies we have very good chances to face post-season NBA Top-3 seed.
***Keep it consistent with what you’ve shown us so far = Great chances of success***
Can anyone see major flaws in this logic?

Please, educate me.
I’m a big believer in the point differential statistic. I apply this across professional sport. Right now, the Griz are one of three teams with a diff of 10 pts or higher. According to StatMuse, there have only been 7 teams in NBA history to finish a regular season with a differential of 10 or more,
Thank goodness for my grizz, Vols hurt me
That Edey pnr put Bane in the kitchen all night long.
Also ATL went Jake Who? On defense and got rekt. Love to see it.
