It’s strange—Smart was like an ironman back when he was with the Celtics. I remember in the 2022 Eastern Conference Finals, he had an injury that looked like it could end his season, but he came back without any problem. Now that he’s with the Grizzlies, how did he suddenly become so fragile?

ask any boston fans, they knew he was at the end of the road physically

Father Time is undefeated.
He’s never played a full-season in his career.
Bro is cooked
Conspiracy: They are overblowing his health and injury stuff to keep him off the court and healthy because he can only continue to hurt his trade value.
He’s still seen by some teams as a hard nosed defender and culture guy that could be great in the locker room and play 25 minutes a game. We need that idea out there to trade him.
I remember trading for him, one of the questions marks was he was injury prone and availability. So his injuries began sometimes later with the Celtics, not “suddenly” with the Grizz.
He’s like a hellcat with 200k miles
He’s got that dad bod now.
Who’s going to explain aging to this guy?
I really suspect it’s just the FO being cautious since they’re winning.
If one of these dudes gets hurt in the playoffs and stays out, barring major injury, then I’ll be a critic.
