1. I don’t really understand why everyone wants to trade lux . He was a top prospect that was hurt . When he got fully healthy ( second half/playoffs) he was hit . In the playoffs he was consistently on the base pads

Its not that he doesnt want to be in St.louis, Cards upper management approached him, he didnt ask for a trade , the cards want to cut payroll and go younger, and rhey are pouring all their funds into the minor league system .has a no trade so ,if traded, wants to go preferably to the west coast but he has approved some east coast teams too Padres,Dodgers,Angels,Mets,Phillies Red Sox ,and Yanks possibly but wasn't listed yet, are the teams he has agreed to be traded to, and the Cards only want prospects, no 30 +yr old vets in a trade,and are willing to throw some money in, better the prospect, the more money theyll toss in

4. I don't understand the obsession with Muncy. He's hurt half the year and totally boom or bust. What standout thing did he do to contribute during the World Series? I'll wait. I'll take Arenado's upside over Muncy's inconsistency. Let's not forget Arenado is way better at defense and it's not even close. Get rid of Muncy and Lux or Taylor.

5. Literally no metrics point to a Nolan Arenado bounceback. Barrel Rate has dropped 7.3% to 3.2%. Average EV went from 88.8 to 86.3. Max EV went from 110.3 to 107.5. Hard Hit Rate went from 38.1% to 31.6%. Nolan used to hit fastballs good back then now his stats vs fastballs are 8 hrs, 416 SLG, .339wOBA. He does not hit left handed pitching good AT ALL ANYMORE! .227/.264/.383 with a 34.8% hard hit rate vs left handed pitching 2023-2024!!! THIS GUY SUCKS

Even when the Dodgers brought back Matt Kemp in 2018 the year prior in 2017 he actually had good metrics that could have pointed to a comeback season like he had in 2018 and it wasn’t just “Him being back in Dodger Blue” and “Playing where he wants to be”. Looking at Nolan’s metrics there is literally nothing. He is a shell of his former self.

He is hardly ever healthy and his best defensive year is Arenados down year. “Better player right now” max has missed a shit ton of games. His value is from his bat, which is better than Nolan’s but not by much. The defense…. Got way better but how long until his ribs start hurting again

15. IF and I say IF the price is right, the Rockies are paying about 10 million and St Louis pays alot. The defense would be better, move Muncy to second trade Lux!! I think it could work!!!

17. Arenado has great numbers against darvish. Dodgers need someone who can hit Darvish, so that is a benefit. Also, Muncy cannot hit lefties. Love Muncy, but Arenado is an upgrade.

19. Dodgers would need to move some salaries, such as Taylor and Muncy. If they added Outman with those two as part of a trade package, it might entice the Yankees who like lefty power and fill needs at third and CF. Plus, Outman is cheap and young and Muncy and Taylor are on expiring contracts. Perhaps NY might surrender Dominguez or Spencer Jones who the Dodgers could either develop or flip. As for the Cards, they would need to eat some salary and add Helsley for the Dodgers to even consider it. A return package of Brasier, Hoese, and Yean might be the best I would offer. That gives the Cards short and long term options for a leverage power reliever and a young, cheap option for third. If both scenarios actually happened, it could also provide a bit of roster space.

20. Why the hell does people actually want Arenado? He's a shell of his former self, not worth the contract that you HAVE to cover because the whole point of the Cards trading is a salary dump. I rather they use the money they'd be spending on Arenado to get Teoscar. And geez, people don't realize the value of Muncy at third do they? Glad some fans don't run the team. So many teams would love to have Muncy on the deal he has on their teams, and yet so many Dodger fans think he's one of the worst. Easily top 10 3rd basemen in the league, but they want someone who's regressing rapidly.

24. Its no secret that Arenado want to be a dodger, why he blocked the trade to the Astros. he's waiting to see if the Dodgers will make a move for him. The Dodgers wont be desperate for him so if there's going to be a trade for him, it has to be on the Dodgers terms and that will be to send at least $20M along with arenado to make this trade happen because the dodgers wont take on his whole contract, and lets remember that the Rockies will pay $10M of what he still owed so if the cardinals pitch in another $10M than that's $20m less the Dodgers pay and make this trade happen. Also, lux definitely would have to get traded and I'm tired of waiting for this guy to have his "breakout" year in dodger blue.. Move on from Lux or else he'll be another Zach Lee, was made out to be the next great thing, never lived up to expectations and was later traded for peanuts. Trade lux while the value is still there!

25. Just send them spare parts and money. Nothing of high value. His bat is on the way dooooown. But so is Muncy's. Nevertheless, Aranado is a few ticks better than Muncy in all categories. Close that deal and get Teo, Kike, Sasaki. Picture that lineup. Betts, Ohtani, Freddie, Teo, Aranado, Muncy, Smith, Edman + Bench

Muncy is a career .228 hitter with average defense on his best day and a lot of his bombs don't impact the result of the game. Arenado had wrist, elbow, and back injuries on a terrible team with a terrible lineup. Old enough to remember LAD fans wanting to dump Segear after he got hurt. Carried us in 2020. I want HoF talent anyway I can get it. Make the deal

39. It's ridiculous. He's not a Dodgers' target. He' not even a 3 win player at this point. Why would the Dodgers deal talent for a guy who may not be playable after 2025?

40. He actually works on the Mets at 3/30m. Vientos moves to 1B, sooner rather than later, and Stearns gets another good defender to make his average pitchers look good.
