From what they were saying last night he didn’t have surgery in KC, which is promising given the circumstances. No surgery means it’s possible that he avoided extensive cruciate ligament damage. Could’ve still torn his patellar tendon. I would think if there were a fracture we would have heard about it by now.
I’m not a doctor, I’ve just dealt with a lot of knee issues over the years.
Sounding like it might not be career ending. I’m really pulling for tank. Not just because he’s on my fantasy team and my hometown football team, but he legitimately just seems like a fantastic human being.
I’m relieved to see this update. My fear with an injury like this is the risk of nerve damage and the interruption of blood flow to the lower leg. The fact he did not need immediate surgery is an exceptionally good sign in that regard
depressed all day over this.
can a grown man write a nfl player a letter? is that dumb? hope he gets lots of support.
I sure hope he didn’t dislocate his knee. It looked like it popped back into place to me.
I dislocated my knee and didn’t have surgery for 6 months to repair my knee ligaments.
He should definitely get the majority of his medical care in Houston instead of KC. I would feel way more comfortable having the opinion and skill of the best docs/surgeons in TMC compared to just about any other place in America.
