  1. Idk I’m just tired of watching the Nuggets/Broncos/Avs always dig themselves into a hole in the first half.

  2. I think it’s directly related to the team being out of rhythm. Jokić even said so after the game last night. This schedule has been brutal.

  3. It’s simple but sad. Effort. They are talented enough to beat anybody when they actually try. They are seemingly incapable of motivation until the 4th quarter.

  4. Does anyone has the stats for these last year? I seem to recall last season was also the same, we havent really played 2nd and 3rd quarter for quite some time.

  5. I think the reason is the Nuggets have decided to coast in the front half of the season and so they coast in these games early and then suddenly they need to actually get a couple wins so they kick it into 2nd gear and come back and beat the Pelicans, but sometimes they get burned like they did with Portland.

  6. Laziness. They only start to play seriously when they are down by 10 at the 2nd quarter after not playing defense until this moment

  7. Honestly – I think the large atypical gaps between games at the start of the season here have been a problem with them establishing a rhythm.

  8. One silver lining here, maybe opposing teams feel shaky with the lead against the Nuggets, they have 15/20 point lead and feel we aint out the woods yet, Nuggets avalanche still might hit us

  9. nuggets aren’t that good but have 2 high level shot makers who can bail them out better than other teams can.

  10. What’s our win percentage in games where we’re down 17 in the 4th quarter? We have to be leading the league in that one lol

  11. Isn’t this exactly what they did in the playoffs last year? I think some of our key guys have been unfocused and unreliable since getting a ring and big contracts.

  12. There is something just off with this team this year, not sure what it is, but they definitely don’t look like championship contenders at the moment.
