If he wants to do a Russ Wilson deal, and hang out for vet minimum as a backup. NFL QB demand is at an all time high though. Someone is playing Kirk next year, and it’s probably the Titans, or Raiders.
This franchise makes a lot of bad decisions with personnel, and I am but a lowly couch coach… that being said, if the team moves on from AR next season, it is a bad look unless they are willing to blow it up to try and get a #1 pick. He was a known *unknown* coming out of college, and with so few games of organized football under his belt, he should be expected to struggle for a few years. With progress made in his development, however. They need to go balls deep into the run game, with numerous plays drawn up for AR to use his legs as the first option, and build on that so play action can really be there for him. That gives a middling receiving corps more time to find separation and hopefully help him go through reads etc.. I ramble, apologies, freshly stoned.
No more journeyman QBs, please. Give AR more snaps. He’s 22 years old, a freak athlete, and still pretty much a rookie.
