The sad reality for the Sacramento Kings ..

  1. the kings have been my secord or third favorite team since the Boogie Cousins days and i'm always rooting for that organization bc they have amazing fans and they deserve bettere than what they getting rn

  2. I’ve been a kings fan all my life. Seeing my team finally going forward with a competent and stable front office was something I thought I would never see. Now I’m not sure if the past disfunctionality is still surrounding us. The past with how shit the roster building has been ass and it’s showing right now.

All I hope is that my team picks a direction. I would rather keep Fox and build a roster that makes sense around him. We need length, defense, physicality, and most importantly some consistency. If our front office can’t make a trade or do anything then get rid of them. Im tired of us waiting to get better. It shouldn’t take us being 12th in the west and slipping this bad with this many blowouts and bad losses to push our front office to make a move. We should already be finding ways to building the roster effectively at any given moment.

If we trade Fox then we might as well blow up the ship and get our pick from the spurs back and every great young player we can get. Keep Keegan, Keon, and Devin Carter and ship everybody else out.

  3. I'm a kings fan and as much as I tried to talk myself into the demar move when it happened I just could never see how it would work. And we're seeing that play out in real time. Fox is and will be my favorite player of all time but it's time to stop wasting his best years and get something for him before he just walks away in free agency. The only way he stays with the kings is making all nba and being supermax eligible, and that's not happening with the kings very likely missing the playoffs.

  4. I think people really underestimate how important Harrison Barnes was to the team. From a basketball point of view, he was a good shooter in this team, the second best defender after Keon Ellis. He's just a player with no obvious weaknesses that no team would give up on. In my opinion, one of the most underrated players of recent years (even considering the 20 million contract). He was also one of the few, and if I'm not mistaken, the only one besides Fox, who played on this team long enough to catch the dark days of the Kings. A veteran with championship experience who was really important to the team as a dude in the locker room, I'm sure.
So Demar Derozan, who is completely different from Barnes in terms of playing style, just doesn't look like the player these Kings need. So, obviously, it's easy to talk against the background of poor results, but it doesn't seem like that trade was the right decision. Of course, maybe the coaching staff will figure out how to integrate Derozan into the system most effectively, rather than just giving him a couple of iso's per quarter, but so far this has not happened, so the trade looks erroneous.

  5. How careful will you be projecting Derik Queen's ceiling, considering the limitations his archetype brings to a team similar to Sabonis. Both extremely talented with touch and natural hoopers but restricts the defensive potential of a starting unit. I got Queen 9 on my board right now.

  6. fox to the spurs, rockets, or magic makes the most sense. he makes any 3 of those team much more serious as contenders as long as the teams don’t give up a lot of their young talent/depth

  7. my kings are rough. we got one of the best arenas. best fans. players dont wanna come. players suck. the chemistry sucks. our tem leaders just do their own thing. they help the city sure but the team isnt teaming.

  8. The signing of Demar Derozan is the equivalent of the the lakers trading for Russell Westbrook just unnecessary and doesn’t solve the current problem they have the kings needed a much upgraded 3/D wing from Harrison Barnes Keon Ellis was a defensive guard to fit next De’Arron and bring in Demar stunted both Keon and Kegan Murray growth

  9. The sad reality for the Sacramento Kings is that the last placed San Jose Sharks are more exciting to watch now with their 18 year old superstar who's dad is the GSW's Director of Sports Medicine and Performance, Macklin Celebrini. The Sacramento Kings are where the Sharks were in the start of the 2019 season and so there's going to be a rough 6+ years ahead of them as they try to decide whether to do a full rebuild or trade pieces in what will only amount to a lateral move with no results. The 'Light the Beam' era only lasted two seasons which is pretty sad.

  10. P tell me about this trade for kings:

the nets get demar derozan, jordan mclaughlin 2 seconds and 1 first from the kings.
the hornets get kevin huerter , trey lyles and two seconds from the kings.
the kings get cam johnson, grant williams, cody martin and noah clowney.

  11. As a life long kings fan it hurts so much for them to go from not making the playoffs since I was barely even conscious to an electric run in 22-23 just to IMMEDIATELY drop back to stunning mediocrity. Fox is the 2nd best player in our team’s history and the front office can’t even commit to a direction. I don’t want to go back to being shit after such a long playoff drought but clearly derozan wasn’t the right move and the office doesn’t wanna acknowledge it. It feels like we in hell rn man. If we commit to winning there’s still a good chance we won’t even be shit and continue to waste our best player’s prime

  12. I took vitamins. So dont take seriously… But I had a 3 team deal.

Bulls get De'Aaron Fox, Malik Monk, Keon Ellis, and Miles Bridges.

Hornets get Coby White, Zach LaVine, and Kevin Huerter.

Kings get LaMelo Ball, Lonzo Ball, Cody Martin, and Dalen Terry.

  13. Fox is ideal landing spot I think would be Houston because of the assets the kings could get pack great future draft picks from the suns reed sheppard and a expiring vanvleet contact would definitely be included
and for sabonis he is super valuable because other than jokic and sengun there are no playmaking bigs that give you 20 a night with 10 plus boards and a lot of teams would be licking there chops and giving up young assets and picks for that
As for derozan you would just send him back home for T Mann pj tucker and probably some 2nd rounders
