  5. Keep fining the players for speaking out against terrible referees, and these fines will soon be their only source of revenue.

    I would rather swallow a gallon of sawdust than pay close to $20 a month to watch this garbage (and not even be able to watch my local teamā€™s games)

  9. People gotta stop bashing refs, enjoy the fine. Both the ref & the players are just doing their job. Everyone can have a bad day on the job, making a bad call or scoring fuckall points or making dogshit plays. I don't see refs publicly shaming players either for not doing their jobs properly, why should it be allowed the other way around.

  10. That's why everybody's chucking up threes. Because it's not worth the risk. And they don't call the real fouls, only the ticky tack ones. Or players like Wemby flopping with players half his size. Or when they called a charge on Embiid when the player pulled the fn chair, which wouldn't be a charge, it would be a travel. These refs are just complete trash. So is Adam Silver.

  12. The thing is, these players can get fined as many times as they want. $75,000 is chump change to these dudes. I donā€™t understand why more players donā€™t speak out.

  20. THE PLAYERS AND COACHES NEED TO START A CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST THE OFFCIATING IN THE NBA BEING ABLE TO CALL A TECH FOR REASONS LIKE "YOU SAID this and not that" …f*** you.

  21. simple solution to this, stop watching NBA games entirely, once viewership and ratings drop low enough to the point where it starts to affect the pockets of whoever is charge, things will start to change, hopefully for the better

  25. The refs are way too protected. Iā€™m so sick of them always getting away with it. Somebody needed to speak up and ant is perfect. Iā€™m so sick to my stomach they fined him. NBA is dead. Just took free speech away from him and dared anybody else to try smh. DONE

  32. Players Can't Keep It Real And Speak Their Mind. Players Can't Show No Type Of Frustration, If They Do They Get Fined. And They Wonder Why Ratings Are Down.

  38. If the refs called the game right there would be palming and traveling called on pretty much every possession and the game would come to a standstill. The players should be glad they let them get away with what they do. Just shut up and let the refs do their job.
