  1. You and I both. Stroud showed what he’s capable of, that sudden decline in vision, mechanics, and footwork doesn’t happen unless a team fails a player.

I hope really takes this offseason to look back on what went wrong and I especially hope that our front office gets him involved in finding a right coach that fits his strengths. I’m tired of the Shanahan style offense, we have been trying to fit a circle into square because we clearly lack the personnel to run it successfully.

  2. Well sure the entire O line regresssd. Sure we didn’t have any good options at replacing guys. Sure the play calling didn’t get people open. Sure we couldn’t run against most teams. Sure we were predictable and had a horrific third down average conversion distance. Sure we lost 2/3 of our good WR’s. Sure Schultz regressed and we played a lot of a rookie TE who made mistakes. Sure we lined up fringe WR’s hoping they could get meaningful separation. And sure all of that led to CJ getting annihilated at an extremely high frequency, which has led to mental hurdles that lead to regression of footwork and decision making.

But did you see he’s clearly not doing as good as we thought after being in MVP talks as a rookie? Best to move on and try our luck at a new QB.

  3. Why bother? If he plays better, there’s nothing to defend. If he continues to play awful, you look brain dead. In both cases, you’re wasting your time. His play on the field has to improve and that’s all there is.

  4. But yet we’ll still see another series with him and Parsons in France or some shit eating snails in the offseason. Kid needs to get serious in the offseason
