2021 Giants won 107 games and came in 6th in runs scored.
I don’t know man. I feel like the padres were top 5 in 2024.
Being a Mariners fan is torture….
Despite the ballpark factors I was surprised to see the Giants at 1972 because I thought they cracked the top 5 2021. – 2021 6th with 804 runs – 2000 6th with 925 (hahaha) runs
The Royals catcher in 1982 John Wathan stole 36 bases
Sounds about right. Even in 2017 with Stanton, Yelich, Ozuna and Realmuto the offense wasn’t anything special.
This is a chart of park factors. That 2001 Mariners offense was the best in the league by 13 WAR, an entire Barry Bonds ahead of second place lmao. They were as far ahead of 2nd place that year as 2nd was ahead of 16th. They’re still the best position player unit of the 21st century…
…but they only scored 4 more runs that year than the Rockies.
21 was a top offense? That was Devers, Xander, JDM, Renfroe, and not much else. I feel like we’ve had a better lineup the last few years. 2021 was our last gasp from 2018.
Cubs were 6th in runs scored in 2023. Astros beat them by 8
The giants never being a top 5 offense with prime Bonds really surprises me
No excuses for the Rockies being there.
Nick Adenhart and Zack Greinke in that 2014 angels rotation and we might’ve actually won something
I would like to join the Mariners marketing department in being permanently stuck in 2001.
4 World Series wins and 5 appearances in the last few years for royals and giants. Does this stat matter?
I don’t know why, but through the years and no matter the players, when they play the Mets, the Marlins are one of the best teams in the league.
And yet, two rings for Miami.
Mariners fans don’t need this energy right now
… 2022 feels like a decade ago at this point
The angels never had a top 5 offense with Shohei and Trout
Surprised most by Royals and Brewers.
No idea Arizona had a stout offense last year and then just added the best pitcher on the market.
That’s kinda crazy. The Marlins have produced 2 of the best power hitters of their generations (Cabrera & Stanton) as well as a bunch of great hitters in general and never cracked the top 5 in a season?

Sad Marlins sounds
Our offense being top 5 feels like ages ago
Fire Jeff Albert.

A’s and White Sox being above the Rockies hurts.
Every NL East fan outside of Miami:
Never? No fucking way.
Go Bucs!
have the padres ever been top 5 in a real year
