Kay Adams Dives in on Commanders’ Big Win over Eagles

And I’ve gotta dig in on that Commanders’ big win here for a second. Dan Quinn’s squad overcame a double-digit 4th quarter deficit and **FIVE** turnovers to take down the Eagles, get to 10 wins, and move just one away from clinching a playoff spot.

It’s hard not to be a little emotional for Terry…I this for him…and this new regime has given the organization its best start to a season since 1991 – which was the last time Washington won a Super Bowl.

And of course…Jalen Hurts leaving the game with a concussion made a huge impact yesterday…we’re sending our best to him and hope he’s feeling better this morning. But that shouldn’t be a reason to take away from what Jayden Daniels was able to do.

The Eagles still put up 33 points…they had the lead late…and Jayden just picked apart this #1 ranked pass defense down the stretch to win the game. 5 touchdown passes – no one else had thrown for more than **TWO** in a game against Philly all year. He wasn’t perfect…there were some big mistakes along the way…but that’s what makes this even more impressive to me. As we’ve seen all year, Jayden has that rare ability to just shrug everything off. No situation is too big, no lead is insurmountable…it’s almost like he feeds off of the obstacles.

And I think there was this perception around Thanksgiving – when Washington hit that rough patch – that they were going to get into the playoffs, but probably be one and done. I don’t think you can watch what this team has done in December – and the way Jayden plays in these big moments – and honestly believe that.

By the way…we’re probably getting a rematch between these two teams on wild card weekend with the way things unfolded yesterday. And you can’t tell me the ‘Manders don’t have a chance. Another round of AJ Brown vs. Marshon Lattimore? Jalen and Jayden going shot for shot? More fireworks out of Saquon? Sign me up for all of it.

  1. It’s almost funny how serious Terry looked when talking about getting this win😂😂😂😂 bro our starting qb was out. Pipe down. I can take an L, but the narrative around the win is hilarious

  2. Around "turkey and gravy time" two things were true. Daniels had a rib injury that was hindering his performance. The second thing is they started playing better teams. The Commanders have not played particularly well against teams with winning records.

  3. This woman always show us love ❤️ 😍 will you marry me? Lol I no don't get it twisted I tried like many Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Kay ❤😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

  4. Hurts leaving the game early defiantly changes that game, Pickett is not that good. If Smith holds that 1st down catch, Commanders don't even have a chance to win that game. Commanders were lucky to get that W, IMO
