1. This team is so mother fucking good

2. Well folks, I think the Devils are here for real. After essentially a decade of utter shit, we are FINALLY in the conversation for real. We’re beating bad teams, we’re beating good teams, we have scoring, defense, and goaltending. We have a modern coach with a good track record and something to prove. We have a GM with a vision and supportive ownership. We have stars, a proper supporting cast, a solid prospect pipeline, and have still maintained a good cap situation.

   Whether you were the ultimate doomer or non-stop believer, it doesn’t matter now. It’s okay to let yourself believe it. We’re here. It’s time. Get on board and let’s enjoy the ride together.

   Beyond that, it’s hockey so who knows. The randomness will take over. There are absolutely no guarantees. But I am just so fucking grateful to be looking forward to Devils hockey every day and have an honest belief that they can beat anyone. It feels really good and we deserve to feel good. FINALLY.

   Why not us?

3. It is truly good to be a Devils fan. And a Gaslight Anthem fan, specifically if you like Howl.

4. For those of us who grew up with the 90s/00s Devils, this feels like coming home after a long time away.

5. Great win last night. Right back at it tonight. This is like a little taste of a playoff series hitting Carolina back to back. The biggest criticism of Keefe in Toronto was the he had trouble adjusting style when needed. You know Rod is going to have Carolina coming at us from a different angle tonight, now we get to see if Keefe’s adjustments work.

   Or maybe we’re just a fucking power house that cant be stopped. Time will tell.

6. In Europe so watched the NHL YouTube highlights this morning. Over 6 minutes of highlights from the first period. 3 minutes from the 2nd. And 20 seconds from the 3rd. I get the goals were scored in the first 2 periods. But would be nice if they could space out the highlights more throughout the game. The first period highlights included them showing a Fanduel ad from the msg broadcast for Christ sake!

7. Does anyone have a video of the disallowed goal? In arena couldn’t hear the reasoning and would like to review it. Thanks!

8. I think that Luke is going to be even better than Jack at zone entries, if he isn’t already. I’d wager he already is. The bigger strides he can make with his added height along with the usual Hughes brother skating skills is a big boon for us.

9. Devils Rangers swapped spots between last year and this year.

10. This team is something special. A great reward for suffering through all the dark years. I won’t take it for granted this time.
