  1. Last night was the first time I got to sit down and watch him play an entire professional game. Wow. Super fun! Having said that, I just want to take the opportunity to say, Suck it Bears!

  2. Us in DC are excited for numerous reasons, but one is we have seen the “team of destiny” runs before. The caps looked like possibly the worst team in the playoffs, shot hot down the stretch and pulled out the first championship in decades. A year later, the nats looked like they might not even make the playoffs, then again, got hot down the stretch. The city knows the signs, and know we have a shot.

  3. Rich the Commanders have had only one over time game this season. JD is indeed a fun watch. As a Redskins fan since 1964, Sonny Jurgensen’s 😊first season in Washington. I was blessed to have season tickets from 1971 to 2003. JD is a happy addition to the team roster. In my old age I’m blessed to be watching him have such a great rookie season. RG3 was a brief brilliant comet that couldn’t slide. JD is better at it. He’s a humble man with manners to be inveighed. A man blessed by God, who loves Jesus. He’s pops must be happy & proud. This off season is the right time to bring back The Redskins.

  4. I don’t know how Jayden is not in the MVP race. This is a 11-5 team, possibly 12-5 as a ROOKIE. New owner, new HC, New GM and this roster is not built to have this kind of success, let’s be honest. Outside of terry who do they really have? Ertz? I mean he’s 34 not 26. Noah brown? He’s a 3/4 WR at best on a team and he’s been injured. Ekeler been out for weeks now. So if we go MVP as pure value for a team, he should win it

  5. Washington didn’t trade up for Daniels. The Bears had the 9th pick from their season. Washington was the worse place to go. This narrative that Williams landed in a bad place is the issue not the other way around. Washington had to have one of the best years in the history of sports. Worst owner in sports to good ownership at a minimum. Great coaching and scouting hires. Green light on an amazing stadium and development project. Generational talent at qb. Bears blew off Harbaugh. Passed on kingsbury. Built outside in. Have some $300m piece of land that they no longer intend to use. Goes on and on. I hope Williams ends up great. So far looks a lot like the franchise that drafted trubisky over mahomes just did it again here though with Williams over Daniels. Fans in Chicago are great. Love the city. Hard not to look at these 2 franchises in the past year and be anything less than shocked by the differences

  6. Yes he's not as fragile as RG but he's taking too many rough hits too early.

They have to rest him the final game. And i hate the Cowboys.

  7. No, he's NOT going to"take a step back next year", and here is why : JD is doing all of this with a patchwork offensive line and only ONE legitimate passing target… Terry McClaurin.
Our excellent Gm Adam Peters is going to take that 100million dollars in cap space for next year (as well as draft picks) and surround him with offensive weapons at wide receiver, running back, and TE….. We are also going to upgrade our defense with legit cornerbacks, and pass rushers and we have the draft and cap space to do it too.
JD did what he did this year largely on his own.. Him and a bunch of patchwork free agents who have never even played together before… Almost the whole team was jetisoned from last year! … Our team was projected to win no more than 4_6 games…. The only difference was JD! Just like Rich said…. How many times just this year have we seen this kid come back with less than 2minutes in the game and WIN IT… not choking one single time…. And he won last night without even having any help from his no. #1 target, Terry McClaurin…Basically it was just JD, his talent and his willpower and that is IT… ( Maybe some pundits can make a weak case for Zack Eartz and Zechius too, but there have been multiple games where Eartz was practically non existent and Zechius?…. Please…)
Last night was the only time where Terry had been effectively neutralized….and we saw how JD would respond…. He did what the special players do… He put the team on his back and willed himself to a win…. And it's so easy to lose sight that he's doing this AS A ROOKIE too!!!… And he also broke the all time record for rushing from a quarterback held by RG3, as icing on the cake…. Better than Vick, RG3 or any of them!!!… He also is WAY more accurate and makes better decisions than those other guys did during their rookie year…
. People compare him to Lamar Jackson… Jackson went 10-5 in his rookie season, had 695 yards rushing with 1,201 yards passing, 6 tds …rating 82.5, adjusted qbr 42.6.
JD has 12 tds just in the 4th quarter!!!! 25 tds passing, rating of 101.2, adjusted qbr 72.3, 3,530 passing yards, 864 yards rushing ***(all time record) 9 ints., working this magic in his rookie season!
Jaden won with his passing, his legs and his willpower…. He will be BETTER next year. This kid is different… EVERYBODY can see it too!

  8. AP and DQ will boost the roster through free agency, trades and the draft. The team should be better overall next year with less of a need for JD5 to be Superman to win each game.

  9. Y’all can’t comprehend what this kid is doing for our fanbase… not just him. The owner, GM, front office, coaching staff and players. The culture being built is one we can get behind and one that (more importantly) gives us hope. HTTR

  10. @joe-edward Noted Dan Quinn for Coach of the Year honors. I agree and add that the clock management has been very good this year. Hail Mary. This game, Eagles game last week. There were a few others. Dan Quinn gets COY credit for his really excellent clock management.
