It’s still early and there’s a lot of credit to go around (Keefe, Kovacevic, Goalies, Cotter, new food vendor, etc) but it seems like bringing Noesen back is one of the best moves Fitz has ever made.
I can’t tell you how many times the PP made me want to turn off the tv in the past years and Noesen has played a huge part in that units turnaround. Seems like a great guy in the room too. Was exactly what he needed and I’m glad he is back. Nice work Fitz!
As for the article, if you’re a subscriber there’s some good nuggets here about a guy who has gone through a lot and is turning into a huge piece for us. IMO it’s the best work from the new writer so far. Looking forward to more of this kinda stuff. Really enjoyed it.

Noesen is this teams unsung hero.
Can someone copy and paste the article?
Fitz should record a Masterclass on being GM of an NHL hockey team for his work this past year, including signing Noesen to 3 years at 2.75m/yr.
His value to this team is easily double that. Fitz was dead on about the need to bring in “hockey players” – Noesen, Kovacevic, Cotter, Pesce, Dillon. Regardless of size or skill, guys who play fucking ***HARD.***
And on a personal level, it is hard not to cheer and be happy for Noesen when you know his story and journey. Perseverance, putting in the work, doing the right thing, playing the right way, and now being rewarded for it playing in the top 6 and on the PP and putting up career high numbers at 31 years old. Bravo.
(Not just that, but watching some of those clips they play after games of Rachel sitting down with players on the couch and interviewing them – you can tell Noesen is just a really good guy who loves his family off the ice as well.)
Sens fan who has been following him since we drafted him. Really happy to see him have success. He played well whenever he got an opportunity and happy to see him rack up some points.
