  1. They should make dirty kirby wear that helmet padding like Doubs so he can't keep using his helmet like a weapon. I've never seen a player tackle helmet first as often as he does. I'd say I'm surprised he's never been concussed, but he must be a thick-headed numbskull. Plus, I'm not sure there's anything in there to concuss. 😛

  6. I’m a huge diehard Vikings fan and I believe in this team but statistically Jared Goff has been better than Sam Darnold in terms of yards and TD’s this year but Sam Darnold has had more games with a passer rating of 100 and above.

  17. I think America thinks the Sam Darnold story is one of the best in a long time. I think they wanted Detroit to win, but the winds have shifted. I'd bet there are more people rooting for the Vikings this weekend than Detroit.

  19. Addison really came on last year when Jefferson went down. This year Although Jetts has some great grabs this year, i'd argue JA has some of the best catches this season for the team. Thinking about that diving TD snag against the Colts, and that delayed wheel against the Packers was *chef's kiss*

  20. The Lions gave up so many deep passes. If they can't cover any better than that they are going to be in big trouble with JJ, JA, and TJ.

    If our Defense can get some pressure on Goff and cover the pass well I think we have a good chance in this game!!

  23. YES, I hope that the Defense is practicing against Detroit's trick plays, kiddies always use that Hook and ladder in some form or another. Any idea's how to prepare for it? I think the only way is that everyone will need to swarm to a receivers and the swarmer's need to watch for that guy speeding behind the catching receiver… but I know it is doubtful that Goof will get a pass off but if he does, we need to be ready.

  29. Sometimes things work out for the best, last year sucked but the payoff from it?? Think about how things fell into place aa far as the draft, cousins leaving, it all came about pretty good, bad times bring good things at the end of the valley

  30. On the recovery bit, sounds lame to bring this up but even when I played high school football (DB), you STILL wake up sore as hell that next day. Every time you tackle or get tackled your body is on the line. Can’t imagine what it’s like for these NFL guys

  33. JJ needs to be on the clip board for 1 -2 years and then full into QB status in ‘26 and he will be 23! Remember 27 of 53 roster are free agents. Who we have today on roster will not be there in ‘25. As transition is taking place – need draft picks to build and lessen free agents . This div. is highly competitive – Bears will arrive in ‘27 to be with the rest!

  34. I knew that the Lions' defense was terrible but wow, they were atrocious last night. If Purdy didn't throw those two terrible ints and Moody didn't miss the two field goals, the Niners would've put up 48 points on them. Assuming our defense can slow down their offense or get some turnovers on Sunday, I can see us putting up like 50 points on that defense.

  38. The 49'ers exposed a few of detroits weaknesses imo. They let that game go. Kittle was a one man band lol. Anyways we aren't everyone else, we are this seasons Vike's! Sam Darnolds Vike's!! Bring on Detroit!! I'm not scared! SKOL!!!

  39. SF did some noteworthy stuff to Goof early on. A legit pressure D will be the difference for the Vikes. That and the moron coach will stay with going for it on 4th down vs. taking the points.

  43. Bring on the Lions. By the way, it is high time the Vikings seriously consider trading JJ for a chance to draft Jeanty from Boise State. Then we will have the best player in college to be assured of a great run threat in the future. Jones is not our future. A RB like Jeanty added to the weapons the Vikings have for the passing game would be a game changer.

    Seriously, many teams need a future QB, and next years draft actually sucks compared to what JJ will offer. So use the blessing given to us to improve our run game by getting a draft pick that will allow us to get Jeanty. It is a formula for multiple Super Bowls.

  46. I have been saying this all season just like you said we don't get the calls, and won't. It happened again against the "Slackers" calls against us but same exact penalty should have been called against them is a no call. Why because we weren't suppose to be here and making the experts looking stupid
