All 2024 walk-offs where the swing of the bat was not needed

  1. (Almost) every pitcher in these clips: oh please god can I get this fastball over the plate the game can’t end on a walk

Andres Munoz: dials up a 3-1 slider off the plate to try to get some chase

    Respect.

  2. Fitzgerald’s “steal” was something he says he was very much expecting knowing how the pitcher would go after Estrada. Obviously it didn’t matter with how bad that pitch was, but it was a high IQ plan.

  3. Idk about you but I’d rather risk it and serve up a juicy meatball than give up a walk off walk. Probably the worst way to end a baseball game.

  4. Watching A’s walkoffs from this year is so sad. 1 because well never see them in Oakland again and 2 that the crowd is so empty compared to literally every other one of these where the crowd is packed or pretty full.

  5. If there’s an opposite to an immaculate inning, I’m not sure what all it would would entail. But I’ve realized that I hope it’s called the Bwalk Bwalk Bwalk.

  6. The Dave Sims call really gets me. Just got a dang ol cameo of him for my buddy.  Going to miss him. Yet another mariner to the Yankees

  7. “Walk”-offs are bad enough. But a “pitch clock violation”-off is just crazy.

  8. I don’t pay too much attention to the A’s but this video let me know my homie Seth Brown still had some time in the show this year. Atta boy Seth
