2. Scoring in a slump, defense getting careless. Last night they were the worse team and the deep stats backed it up… can’t remember the last game that was true tbh. No ‘goalied’ excuses, although keumper was good, everyone besides Allen just wasn’t getting it done on either end of the ice. 0/6 on the PP too… they know they are slumping and don’t need armchair dickheads telling them I guess. Still a lot of hockey left even in this road trip to figure it out.

3. Let’s hope they pull it together. They get to rest and have a practice I’m assuming before the next game so that’s positive. Last game was a scheduled loss to me. I’m still more annoyed about not even getting a point out of the Ducks game. I will say I’m tired of thinking “what if” after some of these games. What if Timo doesn’t get called for a BS penalty against Carolina and what if Timo’s goal counted like it should have yesterday, could there have been different outcomes in those games? And poor Timo, that’s twice now he got screwed, let’s hope there isn’t a 3rd time!

4. Two-day break can’t come soon enough. I’m on vacation need a mental reset from this team.

8. I’ve watched enough Devils seasons in my life to remember watching past teams hit these slumps in March and having debates on NJDevs or HFBoards on whether the team could “flip the switch” and get themselves going in time for the playoffs.

   A slump in January gives them a lot of time to work on the symptoms and also gives GM Fitz more time to diagnose what all he needs to try and shore up with this group by the trade deadline.

9. Still pissed about that goalie interference call.The most aggravating part is that Kuemper knew it, doing the x thing with his arms immediately after the whistle blew.

10. I’m still way more pissed off at the Anaheim loss.

11. I turned off the game after the GI call. Glad I did!
