As a Jets fan, I'm on Columbus' side. Laine is all bark but no bite which led him getting traded from Winnipeg in the first place. I wouldn't be surprised if he quits on Montreal soon, he's an entitled baby.
In post game interview Werenski admit that they gave 100% to the game cause Laine's comments. I take it that way normally they don't give 100%
Laine needed to go, and his comments are just sour grapes
Huge misunderstanding. The CBJ players are playing the victim here. When theire the one that bullied Laine out of the team.
All you need to know about the Laine situation was werenski’s comments after the game. Put in that sort of effort and targeted because of his comments.
That’s a loser comment right there and indicative of the culture within that franchise. Laine was right.
One dimensional player whose always hurt and isn’t a leader. So what did Laine actually do to help Columbus win games? Guy is so soft just hit him a few times and he’ll willingly quit the game
Who really wants to play in Columbus with a loser team, having no tradition and no success so far! Laine might be not a leader for a team, but just to see the way, the Montreal Canadians welcomed Laine is so far a good story! It seems to me that Laine wants to win and it is the thing that matter the most with this young Canadians team, winning with Martin St Louis! Nothing is perfect, but Laine can score! That’s it!
The problem with Laine is that he has been quite streaky. When he is on his game, he gets a lot of attention, which is hard for the old core group to stomach, especially since they think it is undeserved. He is quite blunt also as we know. So, sort of the same problems in both Winnipeg and Columbus.
The good thing is since the comments of Patrik Laine it lit a fire under the Collective Columbus Blue Jackets. The CBJ has start playing well since that day. Win 5-4 against Montréal, Win 6-2 Against Boston. Defeat 4-0 against Boston, Win 4-3 in Shootout against the Carolina Hurricanes and a lost 5-4 against the Detroit Redwings. 3W-2D (.600)
Werenski will forever be the biggest loser in the league after his little boy upset interview
Laine is just proving the Jackets were correct. The guy hates putting in effort and only puts on his skates for the power play. He has been horrible in Montreal so far, Dach and Newhook still stink with him and are probably getting lazier just watching Laine.
The truth hurts
Doesn't want to lose and got to the Habs. Babahahahahag
I like this hot-dog logo.
The reactions to this zero content click bait are hillarious. Im really looking forward to all the future games against the Habs.
I don’t care why Laine left the CBJ.Just happy he’s on my team now
It was in 2021 year, more precisely after 2020/21 season. Then he was our best forward if he was health.
And keep Zach quiet. Laine asked for a trade in January 2024 and Don Waddell said the same thing in August 2024. Only Zach forgot about it. Now the culture is changing, but it is after Patrik's request for a trade.
Btw, I am a CBJ fan already from 2007 year.
Mistake Finnish manager..Finnish player….result jealousy from American players…normal case.😊
