Kansas City Chiefs Just Massively Misjudged the Denver Broncos…

The Kansas City Chiefs’ decision to rest their starters against the Denver Broncos in Week 18 will come back to haunt them. The Broncos, led by rookie quarterback Bo Nix and head coach Sean Payton, are rapidly improving each week and poised to secure their first playoff berth in nearly a decade. This team has already shown it can go toe-to-toe with the Chiefs, narrowly losing earlier this season due to a fluke blocked field goal as time expired.

By allowing Denver to gain confidence with a win at home, the Chiefs are setting themselves up for a potential nightmare playoff scenario. Unlike the Cincinnati Bengals, who’s defense is a massive liability, the Broncos bring a unique challenge that Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes will struggle to handle. Bo Nix’s development and Sean Payton’s experience make the Broncos a formidable postseason opponent.

Will this risky decision be the Chiefs’ undoing? Dive in as we analyze why Kansas City may regret giving Denver the momentum they need to become a playoff powerhouse.

  1. bro they literally played all yr w/no pachieco. whooped steelers no chris jones. noah gray been shining. your whole luck depends on how wentz shows up.not really game planning orgetting a chance to see how wentz plays offense will also be against you. remember pat got his shot in a game like this. you all will blow it

  2. As a huge broncos fan, the chiefs will throw the game to keep the Bengals out. Not to mention when denver gets in and beats the bills, that's 2 big time threats that kc no longer has to worry about.

  3. Lol Ben I told Darcy the other day on his channel that why would they want to help the Bangles get into the playoffs instead of us, they would probably prefer to play us and not Bangles lol. I mean atleast he thinks we will win and we will. Let's go Broncos Country!!!! Got to Bo-lieve!!! Thank you for doing this video with Darcy!

  4. Most of the Chief starters that are not starting have injuries they have been playing through. Does it send a bad message having a first and second string ? You're basically saying the first string is better but that's because they are. It makes no sense to risk your first string to injury if you don't have to. If that offends the second string they should work to be first string. Having said all that it is concerning that some players won't have played a snap in a game in 24 days for the divisional round.

  5. Even with backups, it's still a divisional game and Wentz isn't a slouch. I think the Broncos shouldn't have to struggle too much, but I also wouldn't be surprised if we fall back to how we've been the past 9 years and choke when it matters. But even if we win and get in (cuz even with a loss it means we have to rely on Dolphins and Bengals losing too) I don't know if I can imagine us beating Josh Allen and the Bills in the Wild Card…. if somehow we can beat the Bills, then I'll be 100% on the hype train for a SB run because the Bills are the de facto best team in the NFL imo. Lions/Vikings are close behind, but honestly I've had the Bills for SB champs this year since week 1 (even as a die hard lifelong Bronco fan, just being realistic) so somehow beating them in the Wild Card would shoot my expectations for us to the stars. Final score prediction for Sunday though is 31-27 Broncos.

  6. Shoot, i would put our backups up against their starters . And we would take their mojo from them , what's left of it anyway. at this time they have fallen off their high horse and are not taking them out to rest. They have to save them from the embarrassment the ones that are going to play are about to receive.. Being that the game is on Courtland Yard they won't even get 300 total yards. we are going to kick their butts. getting in the playoffs will just be a bonus. We don't care who it is either. we are due and you are through. Take That!. (don't reply cause that's my final say. )

  7. It’s the Denver Donkeys they’ll still probably will fall flat on their face if not on Sunday for sure against Buffalo! Do everybody a favor if you win ha ha! Then win one game in the postseason ha Ha! Fat Chance! I wouldn’t advise you to go put your money where your hope is in Vegas! I do realize it’s been a long time for you boys though! Likely it will still be awhile yet! Get use to it!

  8. If we lose don't feel too bad we are not playoff ready, bo nix's is still in his first year and his rookies are showing we need playmakers and the guys we have well are young too next year we WELL dominate but my honest opinion we are not playoff ready

  9. A lot of Chiefs starters have minor injuries and in the last game saw a lot of them hobbling around so having extra rest and rehabilitation puts them in good step for the playoffs

  10. how are the Chiefs misjudging the Broncos? there is nothing to gain from this game. You should have won the game against the Bengals. You ponies should win some of your stupid games before talking shit.

  11. Its always a good idea to doubt Andy Reid, Pat and the Chiefs. I mean seriously it almost always pays dividends.
Apparently Denver fans have forgotten the difference between regular season football and championship football.
Also; their was nothing "fluke" about that back breaking blocked kick 🤣 Chenal has blocked kicks before. Superior effort, skill and execution on full display.
