  1. As a Bruins fan, this season has been so demoralizing… this team needs a lot of changes, and I hate to say it, but I don’t see this team making the playoffs

  2. Good Job STARS!! And Harley after that awful D. of G. penalty to score the 4-4 tying goal to send it into OT for the point. I'm a Stars fan and they typically lose these types of games. It was nice to see them pull out a W. Go Stars!

  3. Thank you Todd Mclellan, for breathing life into this team. Sens are a hard team to play against, it was a very tight game. Showtime does Showtime things. GG Sens, go Wings.

  4. It's hard to imagine the Stars are not in the top 8:

    Missing 2 top 6 forwards
    5 game win streak
    8th in PPG
    3 in GAA
    4 in goal differential

They play in the best division, by far, in the league.

Let's go Hockey Guy! Time to show the Stars some love!

  5. Watching the Zary play, I don't think it was an intentionally dirty play, but after seeing a couple of similar plays in the World Junior tournament, I'm wondering if as the physical play is taken more and more out of hockey, maybe guys don't know how to throw a proper check any more, how to line up an opponent for a clean hit, and they end up out of position and in a panic throw that knee out there. If worse comes to worse and you're getting beat, just trip the guy with your stick. You'll get two minutes but that's better than five and a game, and at least no one gets hurt.

  6. There's a couple things that need to be worked on, but the Todd McLellan era in Detroit looks bright. Love to see the team "play f'ing hockey", as he put it! LGRW!

  7. Thanks for the video! For Tuesday, my guesses were Wings, yes, Blue Jackets, yes, Stars, yes, Oilers, yes, Canes, no, Leafs, yes, Jets, yes, Wild, yes, Flames, yes, and Knights, yes. I happened to watch the Canesgame, the only one I picked wrong!

  8. The stars are starting to get rolling and this is without Seguin and Marchment in the lineup. I’m happy they seem to be clicking after the really weird first half.

  9. I am convinced that every team will be in the playoffs this year and every team will not be in the playoffs. Columbus half way through the season and they are the 8th seed. Boston drops 5 again in a row and is some how still in the 3rd seed? I dont get it. Guess its just an unbalanced schedule. Also, I was thinking, what is the biggest point drop off for a president's trophy winning team the following year. Rangers are way down there this year. haha NY teams now occupy the bottom 3 of the East. Islanders, Sabres, Rangers. In two weeks, 2 of them will be in the 8th seed and 7th seed.

  10. While there were some positives for the Rangers in this game; their inability to wrap it up after they regained the lead really is indicative of the Rangers this year. With the notable exception of Trocheck, no one on the Rangers seems to really care any longer what happens this year.

  11. I think it was a solid win for Winnipeg; but this game could've easily gone the other way. You could argue that the 1st goal should have been blown down before Barron wedged the puck out from under Saros and the Preds had 3 or 4 posts in the first half of the game.
Nashville had a good outing against one of the best teams in the league and a couple tiny things different and the Preds could have notched a win.

  12. the Blue jackets game was so much fun to watch. with 5 minutes left in the game i was like "welp they havent won here in forever, no biggie" and then it all just flipped on its head. the overtime was insane and once we were going to a shootout with Elvis in the net i was feeling great. Say what you want about Elvis but he is incredible in shootouts
