  1. I don’t know how many times this season the Blues have given up a goal quickly after scoring. It’s definitely feels like it’s starting to get to that concerning level

  2. The Turcotte to Kempe play was very pretty. I was worried putting Lewis and Moore back in the lineup might cause some disruption, but they did well. Kings continue to be tops at home.

  3. That Colorado-Montreal game felt like its playoffs. Dobes had flashes of Carey Price, overall the Avs played a better game but MTL goalie stole the 2 pts

  4. Time to pitch in for a new camera, webcam / laptop (Mac? 😎) for Shannon?

Feel like the notes have been smudgier than previously. On PC anyway where it's possible to read them. 😁❤

  5. I can't wait to see how he's going to justify keeping the Leafs out of the top 5 in the power rankings this week. They're 5th in the league, leading their division, on a 3 game winning streak, and 7-3 in their last 10. Yet somehow he'll rank NJ, who is on a 4 game losing streak, ahead of the Leafs

  6. Kuemper is proving everyone wrong! I remember everyone before the season started saying he won’t do anything and that he’s some bum who can’t play goalie. Yes he isn’t some elite superstar but he’s proving everyone wrong.

  7. NHL officiating where you can have a player shoved in the net, a goalie gets injured and play doesn't stop resulting in a goal one night, then the next 2 players get shoved into a goalie by the opposing team and both times it gets called for goalie interference.

Avs are getting shit officiating the rest of the season cause Bedsy complained huh?

Truly fucking sick of the zebras right now.

  8. Watching this channel has helped me relax in tense games, to just enjoy the ride. That Kings v Lightning game was down right frenetic and I was there for the chaos. That play by Turcotte in the 3rd was tenacious, what a pass.

  9. Flames are an embarrassment. They'll end up with the lowest GF in the league. Worst part is they lost their 1st round draft pick to Montreal with the Monahan trade, so it doesn't matter how bad this gets, it won't help. Flames are going to be a laughing stock soon .

  10. Seider is a demon, and Ray had a 3 point night. The way Ray looks, I wouldn’t be surprised if Ray becomes a 90-100 point player in a couple years. Kaner looks like Kaner, Go Wings.

  11. Judging by comments over at DBTB the game wasn’t as close as the 3-1 score indicated. Buffalo was lifeless, and if not for Zucker showcasing himself to get out of Dodge, things would be that much worse.

Pegula has truly demoralized the franchise beyond repair until he’s gone. There’s no hope; if Bettman waited forever to allow sunk-cost Phoenix to move then there’s no way he pressures a wastrel owner to sell to someone far more committed, interested.

  12. On the road the Wild beat Caps in OT and then shut out 'Canes. How will The Hockey Grinch retaliate? Punish the Caps and 'Canes heavily for losing to the Wild? Drop the Wild another 10 spots in the power rankings? Hmmmm??

  13. A couple days after Bednar complains about the injury to Wedgewood, his team gets not 1 but 2 goalie interference penalties in the same game, he doesn't care about goalie safety, just his team's goalie

  14. Game 39. Long post follows with base game statistics including some for the Seattle Kraken. Read, don't read, up to you. These are BASE stats not detailed ones. My comments and observations at the end.

Still feeling awful and still waiting on eye surgery so personal comments will be limited.

From the stats: Oilers really outshot Seattle (32 to 17), Seattle really hit a lot more than the Oilers (23 to 7). Oilers were better on faceoffs (33 to 25). Neither side scored on the PP so both PK's at 100% (Oilers had one chance, Seattle 2 on the PP). Oilers had slightly more giveaways and blocked shots and one less Takeaway.

Podkolzin scored. Nuge scored again. At one point it was 3-0 Oilers. Pickard didn't get a lot of work.

Unfortunately both LA and Vegas won their games so we just keep pace.

    Take care all

  15. Sean, Have you ever done a show on Bill Foley, VGK owner and his philosophy. That would be an interesting topic.

    His philosophy I find refreshing.
He is not a billionaire sports team owner that has a team in their golden years as a hobby. It's a business. And when in business, you want to win.

After his successful financial business career, He started he focused on sports team ownership, wine vineyard and leasure resort business'. His goal is to have a successful leasure business.

Regarding VGK, he believes ALL players are replaceable. They are commodities! I love his philosophy.

Listen to the mans interviews.. He explains why he does not believe in "rebuilds" with VGK/sports teams. Because that means losing. He always wants his teams to be competitive and will make trades, accordingly. Owner and President and GM on same page.

The players, coaches, admin all love him and are treated very well, but at the same time they all understand they must pull in the same direction. Work hard and buy into the culture of winning.

I remember in 2016, Bill Foley said his team will be the Vegas Valley's team and being competitive and winning will be the organizations culture. Front office, players, coaches, admin, PR all must fit into a certain character model.

Another thing about Foley. He never asked for tax dollars. Never took public money for VGK . And T-Mobile is all private money. Foley being part owner of T-Mobile. That is how you get support from the community regarding sports teams.

The Las Vegas Raiders and future MLB Las Vegas A's took public tax dollars for stadium builds.

  16. Agree with other that Minny only up 1 spot makes zero sense. Takes longer to get up than it does to fall. Perhaps his Minny ranking has something to do with Canada exiting the World Juniors early ONCE AGAIN and the US is playing for gold with 8 Minnesotans on their roster 😉

  17. Pretty pissed off as a jets fan. We've got one of the easiest January schedule with alot of home games, and they do this, as if the loss against Anaheim wasn't bad enough. If they lose Tuesdays game against Nashville I hope they lose like 7-1. Blowouts seem to wake teams up

  18. If my Wings can knock off the Jets, they should have little issue with some of the other games coming up within the next week or two. Doesn't mean I expect a 12 game win streak or whatever, but if they keep up this pace, they'll be back in the playoff picture soon.

  19. Watching Vegas makes me sad, because it's almost like knowing who's going to win, especially in Vegas. In my opinion they are the best team in the league, and have a great chance of winning the division, setting up LA and Edmonton for the 4th consecutive year.

  20. At this point you cannot convince me that both of those goalie interference calls against Colorado during their game versus Montreal were not retaliatory.

In both cases, Montreal players cause the Avalanche player to knock the goalie over and in both cases Colorado gets the penalty. Particularly the first one. That was an egregious call. Colton is literally throwing on the brakes, his skates are completely perpendicular to his direction, and he gets completely up-ended and shoved into the goalie by Hudson. Not to mention on both calls there was an imminent scoring chance.

And yet miraculously in the previous game, a Colorado player causes a buffalo player to fall into our goalie and not only do they not blow the play dead, but they watch as our goalie is writhing in pain in the crease just laying there and they allow play to continue and buffalo scores. I am sick and tired of referees in this league dictating the game with horrible calls and having zero accountability.
