  1. Ja Morant is legitimately the most clutch player in the league currently.

  2. Last few weeks have been hell, but that is a damn good way to get back into the win column

  3. Fuck Stan Van Gundy, fuck the media, fuck errbody, call 12, lets fucking go.

  4. All Grizz fans just need to come together, and agree to never participate in r/nba again. It’s Memphis vs errrrbody

  5. Never have I trusted a player more to take the last shot of the game. Ja so clutch.

  6. After the string of losses, to win off a buzzer beater is nice. Idk what to say regarding post-season goals but let’s just keep grinding and try to play better bball

  7. Ja super spicy in the post-game interview. “Had a pidgeon guarding me”, “had the crowd booing me, they have to go home unhappy now”.

Good on him. Fuck the haters.

  8. Despite Jaren and Des having stinkers good to pull this one out.

Adam Silver gonna call a hit job on Ja for the antics on national television lol

  9. Y’all watching this TNT post game?? They said like 45 gun puns already 😂😂

  10. Everybody in the stadium knew he was taking that shit and he still hit it.

    Assassin 🥶 🧊 ☠️ 😈

  11. I think everyone should just boo Ja immediately, first minute of every game from here on out

  12. R/nba nephews will be beside themselves…. even TNT is ripping into the finger gun bs

  13. ![gif](giphy|gjx93XiXRE2NVLoFlH|downsized)

Me looking at that W after the last week we’ve had

  14. The amount of shooting analogies in the TNT post game 😂😂😂

  15. A Ja game winner and Chandler Parsons getting scammed in the same day we are so back

  16. **A TORRENTIAL DOWNPOUR OF POSTGAME THOUGHTS**

**• The “Trade Ja” camp can kiss my ass**

My ass is beautiful too. One of my best features. But I’d be sure to toot in your face as you did it on behalf of Ja.

**• The TNT announcers can kiss my ass too**

Listening to their open bias against the Grizzlies was just insufferable. Just fucking insufferable. I’m so glad they have to choke on that W and glad that they had to choke on Ja forcing down their throats. They act like there was never ever an NBA player who did anything wrong in their lives until Ja came along. Sick of listening to their lecture as if the two of them probably aren’t going home to beat their wives and cheat on them.

**• Why does Coach Iisalo favor Luke Kennard over Kawamura Yuki?**

ASKING FOR A FRIEND (*though it’s a legitimate question at this point*).

**• Luke has played 84 minutes over the last four games & taken just 5 shots**

84 fucking minutes and only 5 shots. **FIVE**.

Is he impacting the game in other ways? Surely he must be, right? He’s got 8 assists in those 84 minutes, 2 per game. 4 rebounds for an average. His average in the post-Jenkins era is

    ***1.75 PTS | 2 AST | 1 REB | 20.5 MIN***

Fuck this guy. He’s not trying to win.

**• SPjr is trying to fucking win**

Give him more minutes, give Luke fewer. The rumor is that Miami wanted to trade Butler to us but wanted SPjr in the deal and ZK refused. Hard to disagree with how critical he is to our success. Jimmy is an old, overpaid rental and SPjr has a real future with us. Glad we still have him.

**• Once again, Edey looked really fucking good out there**

Ware had better stats but only because he was on the floor for 8 more minutes than Edey. If Edey had played 35 minutes, he would have outrebounded Ware and probably scored more points.

I’ve said this multiple times but Iisalo is trusting Edey to do the things we need him to do and it’s paying off. If only he could have been played like this earlier in the year.

**• TNT announcers don’t look at anything but win-loss records for coaches**

They were clearly not fans of the Jenkins firing. They’re talking like he’s going to immediately get a position but I don’t know… is there some other team who’s looking to change it up? Would they want to change it up to what Jenkins is about?

Jenkins had wins but his losses were ugly and problematic. I’ve said this in other places but I feel like win/losses in close games come down to player performance while win/losses in blowouts are dependent on coaching strategy. Iisalo’s strategy has kept us competitive and he’s not getting in the way of players’ ability to win games. Jenkins got in the way a lot. Kept Ja from being Ja, hamstrung Edey, etc, etc. Our previous 3 losses didn’t feel good but only because of the outcome: it was little performance mistakes that cost us those games, not the strategy.

Glad the team got this W and congrats to Coach Iisalo on his first win as (*interim*) head coach.
