Normally I’m anti-doomer, but this team deserves it today for bending over and visiting the wannabe führer.
I’m very conflicted about the whole white house situation. I can’t help but feel it’s a lose lose situation for the team. They go and get shit from fans and pretty much everyone else.
They don’t go and potentially face consequences from snubbing the white house. They go and make some sort of political statement and they again face sort of backlash. There’s no win.

Ohtani has such an interesting swing. He seems to pivot his right foot inside, and it always looks to me like he might wobble a bit! And up-close, slow-mos seem to show that he puffs his cheeks OUT. I would have thought baseball players would hold their breath when hitting. His stance does not at all look natural to me, but it works so well for him!
