  1. Murphy got way too cute in the ninth. Just have Megill start the inning and we win this game.

  2. Can we all agree that Payamps should not be pitching in games when the lead is less than ten?

  3. Trevor didn’t have it but why the fuck are we putting 16+ ERA Payamps in any sort of save situation in the first place? SHEESH. Shutting out the diamondbacks for that many innings is a good sign tho!

  4. This one is on Murphy, Payamps, and Megill. Usually treats 4 runs leads like a save but this time pitches Payamps with a 15 era? Make it make sense. Anderson would’ve been fresher and a better option at least. Now the road trip is in jeopardy. You were up 4-0 and two outs away from a winning roadtrip and now you choked and face Gallen tomorrow.

  5. Too many good things happened tonight for me to worry about one bad inning long-term, but, uh, yeah…what a bad inning.

  6. Payass should not ever come into the game unless the Brewers are down by 5 runs. I am not sure what happened to the guy but hes just ass.

Trevor gets benifit of the doubt as all pitchers have bad games and well, the mindset might not have been there because you would THINK that you would not have to come into the game…

Cant win em all guys… it just stings a little more when its in the 9th and the pitching shits the bed.

  7. I like to add because of this loss we blew though our BP, and I hope the good Freddy shows up tomorrow and can go deep.

  8. Why is Payamps a major leaguer? Give Megill the inning from the beginning and it’s lockdown. FUCK

  9. Hey quick question… what the fuck?

I LEFT FOR FIVE MINUTES WE HAD IT IN THE BAG.

  10. All they had to do was let Mears or Koenig pitch a second inning and they win 4-0. But no, gotta stick with one inning per guy, even though that just raises the likelihood that one guy you run out there doesn’t have it.

Brutal, brutal loss. One to look back at if the playoff race is close.

  11. Payamps is to Murphy as Matt Bush was to Counsell

Our managers just won’t stop using the worst relievers on the roster 😭

  12. I over invested in this game. Hate to say but nearly threw a tantrum at the end. Easy to forgot there will just be another one on tomorrow. Still a chance to go 4-2 on a mini western road trip.
