Nae’Qwan Tomlin and 2026 draft pick Meleek Thomas each netted 20 points, but the Cavaliers never led again following a 19-6 run by the Pacers to close the first half en route to a 99-93 setback in summer league play July 10.
Tomlin did get the Cavs within 88-87 with a personal five-point run, including a 3-pointer with a 3:21 left and a layup 40 seconds later. But that was as close as they got as Indiana pulled away from there.
Tomlin also pulled down six rebounds and had four assists and three steals, and Thomas had five rebounds and three assists.
Malaki Branham contributed 15 points and four rebounds. Riley Minix had 10 points and five rebounds.
The Cavs return to the court July 12 against the Pistons.
